Time Out For Me!!

The last week of April a group of friends and I went to Time Out For Women.

It started four years ago when my friend Lori and I began making the annual woman's vacation a priority for us to attend.

I love this trip and look forward to it seriously all year long.  A chance to get away from the house and kids, to listen to speakers who speak words of wisdom that touch my heart and soul and leave me resolving to be a better, wife, mother and daughter of Heavenly Father, it doesn’t get much better.

In past years we have included my mom also.  This year it was held in Seattle so we decided to spread the word and get a big group together.  It was really neat because we were able to take Seri and her friend Julie for the first time.

Linda went ahead and parked herself right next to the front door so that we had a great seat!!  Thanks!!!

We filled my twelve passenger van and headed up.  It was so nice to hear the chatting and laughing of so many women.  I love surrounding myself with friends like these.

I was able to maneuver my huge van in downtown Seattle, which is no small feat may I add, to the distress of one perturbed pedestrian and with the help of an amazing parking lot guy.

Michael Mclean and John Bytheway were both there the first night!  Again, it doesn’t get better than that.

I totally had plans to post this while my memory was still fresh and to enlighten you all with all the wonderful messages  of inspiration, but……. oh well. There’s always next year!
