Matt was called as Activity chairman for the ward this past summer and this years christmas party really gave him a run for his money. Take planning food,etc for 250 people, a handful of people who start planning this in Sept., and my beloved but official procrastinator of a husband serving as their leader.........Yep, it was pretty interesting. After many hours of planning, frustration, more than a hundred phone calls, six fifty pound turkeys, three twenty-five pound hams, 300lbs of mashed potatoes, twenty boxes of stuffing, and our missing christmas tree (Matt decided to take all of the decorations off and donate it for the night for decorations) The night went perfectly!!!Here is the only pic that got taken. Not so good, but oh well. This pregnancy like many others shows in my extremely bloated face :( As for Sariah's hair, yes it is odd, but there is a reason for the point. I didn't start to do things with Seri's hair until she was probably two, and she has hated it from day one. Even now she refuses to let me do her hair and when I do win the battle she complains as if she is dying the whole time. So poor Sariah, when it came to her I swore I would do her hair every day starting with the day she had enough to do anything with. So far it has worked and she sits very patiently and still while I do her hair each day. The only trouble is when she gets mad at me, then she reaches up and pulls the hair band (along with quite a bit of hair) straight out.
