Polar Express

The week before Christmas I had Matt print out these really cool tickets on gold cardstock.

They say “The Minibus express” on the top.  He then put one on everyone's bed while I was getting them ready for bed, brushing teeth, etc…

They were so confused as to why there was a ticket on their bed and they ran around making sure that everyone had indeed gotten one.

Once everyone had found their ticket it was time to give the ticket taker your ticket and load up the bus.

The ticket taker made sure that everyone’s ticket was sufficiently punched and then we were loaded and ready to go.

First stop was for Hot Chocolate because as Polar express showed us, every winter trip is better when there is Hot Chocolate.

Then we drove around town for two hours looking at Christmas Lights and singing Christmas Carols as loud as we could.  It was a great adventure and I think we may have found a new Christmas tradition.
