I took a portion of the night off from the Forest to attend the church Halloween party with the younger children. No need for them to miss out on the festivities just because their parents are consumed with other obligations.
It was very nice to just sit there and not have to be responsible for any of it as we have been for the past two years.
Halloween is by far the favorite holiday in our household. There is so much to love about it. It’s just a fun, care free holiday where there doesn’t seem to be so many expectations to meet, and it doesn’t drag on forever……. It comes, happens and then is done with. Quick, efficient, my kind of Holiday.
Oh, and then there is the candy!!!!! We can’t forget about the candy!!!!
