These are pics of our visual aides for the children's report on the Peace Arch. I think the children did a great job!!!!
After having posted about one FHE I have neglected to post about others.
Michael taught us about Faith as part of working on one of his Bear badges for cub scouts. For activity we made sugar candy (rock candy) It is a mixture of hot water and sugar and then over the next few days when the water evaporates the sugar collects on the stick. We had "faith" that this would work!!
The next week mom taught the lesson on manners. We focused on two for the week.
1. Always say "yes, ma'am" "no ma'am" or "yes sir", "no sir" when responding to elders.
2. Look at people in their eyes when communicating with them and in groups always look at the speaker in the eyes whether it is the leader or another person in class.
Seri had treat and requested Twinkies and gummy grasshoppers. I couldn't find the grasshoppers so we had worms. I thought her request was completely random but they all said it was out of the movie "Wally".
For activity Michael choose to play Clue.
And here is the Tristan boy, getting cuter each day.......
His latest accomplishment is learning how to climb the stairs, not a baby anymore I guess......
The other day Sariah was trying to feed him his bottle. It was just humorous because in looking at them he was almost as big as she is!!
