Christmas this year was not as extravagant as in years past. The children didn’t get nearly as many things or as expensive of items. I was a tad worried about how they would react. I shouldn’t have been. True to form they were excited with everything and anything they received no matter how small it was.
Sariah got an Elmo DVD. I came across a garage sale this summer that had about 25 Sesame street DVD for a buck each, some were even still wrapped in plastic. Here’s hoping she becomes intrigued by this one!
Something tells me she knew it was a doll before she even opened it…….
Seri got a book she has been wanting to read for quit awhile. “Leven Thumps”.
Michael has become very interested in building with x-nex and Legos. He got a new x-nex set.
Tristan was ecstatic to get a dolly of his own and now his sister can stop yelling at him when he steals hers.
Isaac has begun piano and music classes and is very interested in making music. He got a recorder.
The day truly became meaningful when Michael presented everyone with home made duct tape gifts and everyone was excited and thankful to receive them. Mom and dad got this heart, Seri , Isaac and Tristan got wallets and Sariah got a purse. All made of duct tape! Have I mentioned how much I love this boy?
All in all it was a terrific Christmas!!!!
