Maybe it is a military thing because some friends of ours in the Army recently posted about her husband talking in his sleep.
I don't remember Matt ever doing it before he joined the military, but since then there have been a few instances. The first I rermember is when he was mumbling in his sleep and I asked him what he was talking about. He then told me that he wanted me to "file this".
Me- Dear, what are you talking about? File what?
Matt- You know what I mean, why can't you just do it?
Me- actually I don't know what you are talking about. File what?
He then reaches for and picks up his pillow and hands it to me.
Matt- Here, now was that so difficult?
I laughed for a great while.
It happened again the other night. Tristan is on Matt's side of the bed and usually wakes up in the middle of the night. Matt handed him to me and I then asked him to get the paci.
Matt- I already did that.
Me- Did what? I need the paci.
Matt- yes, I know and I already sent that to you.
Me- Matt, wake up, I need you to hand me the paci.
Matt- If you would just listen to me, you would know that I am trying to tell you I did that right after I sent the link to the friends list.
Me- OK, well if you would wake up, you would know that I am asking for the frickin pacifier!!!
Matt- Why don't you understand what I am saying.
Me- because you are talking about a friends list and I want a paci.
This went on for a good five minutes with both of us getting increasingly frustrated at the other. Finally I found myself just laying there laughing at it all.
(PS. as a side note, Tristan had the paci in his arm pit).

LOL!!! hahahaha!! I love it, too funny...I have had those moments of being so tired and saying crazy things but mostly when I am driving! Yes...I did crash my patrol car...twice :( lol
I can't believe that the irritation alone didn't wake Matt up! That is quite a conversation to have, in the middle of a rem cycle.
So, so funny!
