More Letter Boxing
We started on the Letter Box set called "A Pilgrims Journey" in Point Defiance park. This is a set of six and we were trying to find all of them, but #2 (again) had us stumped and we waisted a good deal of time looking for it. We did find 1, 3, and 4 though. 1 was in a cute Japanese Garden with a Coy pond. Three was in the forest on a hiking trail, and four was by the beach. We tried to find 2 which is supposedly on a cliff near the Marina. Didn't find it, but we really enjoyed the Marina!
After searching for #2 for awhile we found this park at the top of the cliff, guesse the climb was good for something. We let the boys play for awhile and of course Seri found a group of boys playing football and had to join in.
The second box was impossible to find, we looked for a good couple of hours and then even came back to it after we had skipped it and found 3 and 4. It was somewhere up on this cliff, which was literally a VERY STEEP cliff. I was wearing sandals with no grip on the bottom, so after attempting to scale the cliff I came back down and watched from the bottom. (Note to self, when letter boxing, wear decent shoes!). Then Isaac slipped and slid halfway down the hill. there was nothing to do but convince him to continue sliding and ruin a good pair of pants. This picture shows Matt with the baby on the left. The small dot in the center is Seri and Michael is off to the right.
