Yes, this blog is a little late. I just got the pictures from my cousin. Anyhow, we had a great 4th and were so thankful that we got to spend it with family. This holiday has always been a special one to our family and one we look forward to with great anticipation.
While we were in the military we lived in El Paso Texas and Germany, both places where we could not set off our own fireworks. So, this year we really had a blast!!
We also had the whole family together for a picture, something that has not happened since I was nine!!

Great pics! What do you mean you couldn't set off your own fireworks in Germany! That is one of our favorite parts about being in Germany is the awesome fireworks that WE are allowed to shoot. :) It must have just been your neighborhood. I am glad you got to be in America and with your family this year to celebrate such a great holiday.
OK, so I am a little slow! :) About six hours after I commented on your blog, I realized OHHH she was talking about the 4th of July. Of course you can't shoot off your own fireworks in Germany since that is an American holiday. So....JUST KIDDING. :) LOL The fireworks are fun to do at New Years though.
